VENTILATED FACADE
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a ventilated façade, composed of coating pieces, for example based on slate, natural stone, ceramic or metal plates, plastic, composite panels, fiber cement, etc., which are mounted on horizontal strips fixed on vertical strips anchored to the wall to be coated or directly on said wall. The assembly of the coating parts
10 on the rails is carried out by means of hooks anchoring elements that are hung from said rails.
Background of the invention
15 Ventilated facades are those that have an air chamber between the cladding and the facade wall. This air chamber creates the so-called "chimney effect", which provides continuous ventilation due to temperature differences between the outside air and the chamber air.
20 Within the ventilated facades, facades are known in which the cladding is composed, for example, of pieces of slate, which are mounted by means of anchoring elements, of sheet or wire, on horizontal tracks, generally of wood, fixed to the facade wall.
25 In this sense, the eH 659679 and EP0167032, in which the assembly of the covering pieces is carried out by means of anchoring parts, comprising a straight section that is finished at its ends in folds directed in opposite directions, can be cited. hook mode of different width. Through the hook of greater width, which remains in an inverted position, hangs the anchoring piece of
30 the battens, and between the strip and the straight section of the anchoring piece the upper edge of a panel belonging to a lower row of panels is introduced, while on the smaller hook it supports the lower edge of a panel belonging to a top row of panels. In EP 0167032 the outer branch of the wider hook can be extended laterally in a loop that is housed in the track and which
35 serves as a means of support, upwards, of the hook on said track!
With this constitution, in the case that panels of different thicknesses are used in the same row, areas located in different planes appear on the surface seen of the coating, because the anchoring piece does not have thickness adjustment capacity.
Description of the invention
The present invention relates to a ventilated façade composed of a lining that is constituted by covering pieces of any nature 10 (slate, granite, plastic, sheet, fiber cement, etc.), which are mounted on strips of a metallic nature, by anchoring elements of wire or sheet.
The cladding of the facade allows to obtain a durable and very attractive finish, compared to coatings with wood or prefabricated panels.
15 Metal crawls offer better behavior and resistance, compared to wood battens, against moisture and possible fires.
The anchoring elements, of wire, metal rod or sheet, are constituted of
20 so that they have the capacity to absorb or adjust possible differences in thicknesses of the slate pieces, which allows to achieve a practically flat view surface.
The ventilated facade of the invention is of the type indicated above, composed of
25 cover pieces that are mounted on horizontal strips by means of wire or sheet anchoring elements that hang from the strips, through openings that have said strips.
In accordance with the present invention, the anchoring elements take the form of U and
30 are hung in an inverted position of the horizontal battens, with a rear lateral branch inserted through the openings of the battens, and with an anterior lateral branch that runs downwardly ahead of the battens. The anterior lateral branch mentioned above is topped in a fold that is directed upward, forming an outer hook, on which the lower edge of
35 a coating piece, belonging to an upper row of coating pieces. For its part, the posterior lateral branch, introduced through the openings of the battens, has an internal projection that determines with the anterior branch of the U, a narrowing of width less than the thickness of the covering pieces. Through this narrowing the upper edge of a coating piece belonging to a lower row of coating pieces is introduced.
5 The internal projection mentioned above of the posterior branch of the U can be obtainedby transverse conformations practiced in said posterior lateral branch. Also the internal projection can be constituted by a spring that is fixed onthe internal surface of the posterior lateral branch of the U.
10 As for the horizontal rails on which the covering pieces are fixed, they have a broken profile, consisting of three sections, one central and two ends perpendicular to the central section and directed in the opposite direction. Along the outer surface of one of the extreme sections, these tracks have a wing that is parallel to the central section of the track. In the commented wing are
15 located the openings through which the rear branch of the U that configures the anchoring elements is introduced. In addition, this wing is finished off in a longitudinal support that ensures the positioning of the anchoring elements on the track.
The transverse conformations of the posterior lateral branch of the elements of
Anchoring 20 may consist of an extreme bend directed towards the interior of the U and which will define a narrowing in the mouth of said U, which will elastically rest against the upper edge of a cover piece inserted between said fold and the anterior lateral branch of the U.
25 Also the transverse conformations of the posterior lateral branch of the U may consist of intermediate folds, also directed towards the interior of the U, folds that form within the U an internal projection that will support elastically against the upper edge of a covering piece introduced between the intermediate fold mentioned and the anterior lateral branch of the U.
Brief description of the drawings
The features and advantages of the invention will be set forth on the basis of the non-limiting example of embodiment, shown in the accompanying drawings, in which: Figure 1 shows in a partial vertical section a ventilated façade, constituted according to the invention.
Figure 2 is a perspective section of one of the battens that entersbe part of the facade of figure 1.Figure 3 is a profile view of one of the anchoring elements of thecoating pieces.Figure 4 shows in perspective a sheet anchoring element,Figures 5 to 9 show in profile as many variants of the element ofanchorage,Figure 10 shows in section an auxiliary profile for the assembly of parts ofcoating on hard to reach points.Figure 11 shows a possible variant of the auxiliary profile of Figure 10.
Detailed description of one embodiment
Figure 1 shows, in partial vertical section, a ventilated facade composed of a cladding (1), which is mounted on the wall (2) of the façade, The cladding (1) is composed of pieces (3- 3 ') which are mounted in horizontal alignments on horizontal rails (4) that are fixed to vertical rails (4') anchored to the wall (2) of the facade, or directly on said wall.
The assembly of the covering pieces is carried out by means of anchoring elements (5) that hang from the rails (4). The coating pieces (3-3 ') can be of any nature, for example based on slate, granite, plastic, metal, fiber cement, etc,
The battens (4), figure 2, are metallic in nature and have a broken profile composed of three consecutive sections, one central (6) and two ends (7 and 8) perpendicular to the central section (6) and directed in opposite directions,
From the extreme section (8) there is, along the same, a wing (10) parallel and close to the section (6), whose section ends in a longitudinal support (11) for the anchoring elements (5), in the form of inverted channel with walls of different height. The bottom (12) of this channel is approximately coplanar with the central section (6) of the track (4).
The wing (10) has, along the same, openings (13) that will serve to hang the anchoring elements (5).
Along its end section (7), ribs (14) run through its inner surface for positioning screws (15) for fixing the horizontal strips (4) to the vertical struts (4 '), which can be fixed to the wall by means of squares (16) and also screws (15).
The anchoring elements (5 '), figures 3 to 7, take a U-shape, with substantially parallel branches (17 and 18). These anchoring elements are hung in an inverted position of the horizontal battens (4), figure 1, with the lateral branch (18), which we will call the posterior lateral branch, introduced through the openings (13), while the lateral branch ( 17), which we will call the anterior lateral branch, runs in front of the track. For its part, the central branch (19) of the U has an intermediate break, determining sections of different depth that can be coupled on the wing (10) and support (1 1) of the horizontal track.
The anterior lateral branch (17) is finished off in an external fold (20), directed upwards, which forms a hook (21) on which the lower edge of a covering piece (3) rests, belonging to an upper row of coating parts.
The posterior lateral branch (18) has conformations that can be defined by hook-shaped end bends (22), figures 3 and 4, directed towards the inside of said U, or in the form of an internal pin (23), figure 6. The conformations mentioned can also be defined by intermediate folds (24-25), figures 5 and 7.
In any case, the aforementioned conformations determine a narrowing inside the U that will elastically rest against the upper part of a covering piece (3 ') belonging to a lower row of coating pieces partially inserted in the U, as shown in figure 1.EI hook (22), the pin (23) and the folds (24 and 25) determine a narrowing within the U that provides a spring effect that compresses the covering piece (3 ') against the branch front side (17) of the U. As a result, the coating pieces (3 ') will be driven against the pieces (3), allowing possible differences in thicknesses between coating pieces, which will be achieved in each row of row of coating pieces an almost flat outer surface.
In the embodiment of figure 3, the end branch (26) of the hook (22) can be provided with a coating (27) of elastically compressible material or a deformation (21 '), figure 4, to increase the spring effect discussed above and provide better support for the coating parts (3 ').
The anchoring element of Figures 3 and 4 could be subdivided into two independent pieces (28 and 29), Figure 8, both U-shaped, which would hang over different openings (13) of the horizontal battens (4), a through its posterior lateral branch (18). The piece (29) will serve to support the lower edge of the covering pieces (3), through its hook (21), while the piece (28) will provide, through the hook (22), the spring effect that drives the pieces (3 ') of a lower row against the pieces (3) of an upper row.
With the components described, for the construction of the facade of the invention, the strips (4) are fixed horizontally on vertical strips (4 ') anchored to the wall (2), or directly on said wall. The anchoring elements (5) are then mounted, introducing the branch (18) and the hook (22) through the openings (13) of the strip (4). Once the anchoring elements are mounted, the covering piece (3) of an upper row of pieces is supported on the hook (21). through the lower edge of said pieces (3). At the same time, the upper edge of the covering pieces (3 ') belonging to a lower row of pieces is inserted into the U, these pieces (3') being compressed between the side (26) of the hook (22), or on the covering (27), which acts as a spring, and the branch (17) of the U, all according to figure 1.
Through the branch (18) the anchoring element rests on the extreme branch (8) of the rails (4). The central branch (19) of the anchoring piece has a conformation that allows a secure seat on the track. (4),
By inserting the hook (22) of the anchoring element (5) through the groove (13), the block against horizontal movements of said anchor is achieved, with respect to the track !.
The internal narrowing of the U, which provides the above-mentioned spring effect, can also be achieved by arranging a spring (30) fixed to the internal surface of the rear branch (18) of the U, figure 8, Between this spring ( 30) and the upper branch (17) of the U will introduce the upper edge of a coating piece (3 ') belonging to a lower file of coating pieces,
Between the surface of the wall (2) and the covering elements (3-3 ') vertical chambers are delimited that, by the so-called "chimney effect", maintains continuous ventilation, due to the differences in temperature between the exterior and interior of said camera,
To improve the impact resistance of the coating, the coating partsthey can incorporate a fiberglass mesh, fixed for example by resin,5 Support intermediate profiles (31), figure 1, can also be installed between thecover pieces (3-3 ') and vertical battens (4 ").
For the assembly of covering pieces in special areas of the facade, for example, window, balcony or corner encounters, where anchoring elements cannot be placed or where the fastening must be reinforced, they can be used
10 auxiliary parts (32), with the profile shown in figure 10, which are fixed by screwing to the rail (4), The coating pieces are inserted between the pins (33 and 34), which conform to an inverted clamp (35 ) and through the pin (33) can be fixed or not with screws, depending on the particular conditions of placement of the coating pieces in each case,
15 Figure 11 shows, for the same purpose, an auxiliary part (36), in the form of an inverted U, which is mounted on the horizontal rails in the same way as described with reference to Figure 1, and between whose branches (37 and 38), which make up an inverted clamp (35), the upper edge of coating pieces (3-3 ") is introduced, which can be fixed using screws (39),
